Google has enhanced its Gemini Canvas workspace with a powerful new capability. The AI can now read and interpret any text-based document or report and automatically transform it into a visually appealing, fully structured Google Slides presentation.
This new feature is designed to save users hours of tedious work. The AI handles all the initial formatting, generating titles, adding section breaks, and even sourcing relevant visuals to make the slides engaging.
This update firmly positions Gemini as more than just a writing tool. It is now a powerful productivity partner, capable of turning text-based ideas into a polished, presentation-ready format in seconds.
The workflow is seamless. After Gemini Canvas generates the slide deck, it can be exported directly to Google Slides. This allows users to make any final adjustments, add personal touches, or collaborate with their team.
The global rollout is already in progress for all Google users, whether on a personal account or a corporate Workspace plan. Early access appears to be prioritized for Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers, but a wider release for all users is expected shortly.
