Nissan and LiCAP Technologies Forge Strategic Alliance to Advance Eco-Conscious Electrode Manufacturing for EV Batteries

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with LiCAP Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based leader in sustainable electrode innovation, to accelerate the development of next-generation battery technology for electric vehicles.

Central to this collaboration is the integration of LiCAP’s proprietary Activated Dry Electrode® process—a solvent-free manufacturing method that significantly enhances environmental sustainability, operational efficiency, and battery performance.

This initiative aligns with Nissan’s Ambition 2030 vision, reinforcing its commitment to delivering advanced, eco-friendly mobility solutions.
